2025 Emeritus Director Luncheon with the Haring Center for Inclusive Education
All Emeritus Directors are invited to the annual Foundation Board Emeritus Director Lunch on Wednesday, November 5 at noon at the Haring Center for Inclusive Education. This year, we are delighted to be joined by University of Washington President Robert J. Jones, who will share his vision for the future of the UW and host a conversation with you about the opportunities and challenges ahead.
After lunch, we’ll learn how the UW is helping ensure every child has access to high-quality, culturally responsive education with two transformational centers at the College of Education.

The Haring Center for Inclusive Education is helping make that vision a reality. Faculty Director Dr. Kathleen Artman Meeker will share how the Haring Center is transforming classrooms and communities through groundbreaking research and model demonstration programs that elevate belonging and lifelong success.
A strong early learning workforce is essential to building high-quality, inclusive education systems. Cultivate Learning is leading efforts to ensure educators are equipped with the tools, coaching, and professional development they need to thrive. Dr. Gail Joseph, the Bezos Family Distinguished Professor in Early Learning, will share how the initiative Cultivate is investing in a skilled workforce that reflects the communities it serves—laying the foundation for sustainable, equitable impact in classrooms across Washington and beyond.
